Rich Snippets & Structured Data · Module 04
Products, categories and company information should be clearly readable by search engines. We set up structured data in Shopware 6 correctly – using our own plugin for the majority of typical requirements and bespoke development for the rest
More context for search engines
Search engines then not only see text, but specifically recognise products, offers, prices, availability, ratings and breadcrumbs. This lays the technical foundation for potential enhanced search results.
The information must match the visible page content and be consistent across the board. Incorrect or duplicate entities can trigger warnings and make classification more difficult. That is why we combine plugin configuration, data quality and technical checks.

Our services for AI search
We match your customers’ questions with the strengths of your product range. This results in specific content, consistent data and actionable tasks for your Shopware shop.
We display product information such as price, availability, reviews, brand, GTIN or MPN appropriately. We take variants, delivery and returns details into account where the data is maintained fully and correctly in the shop.
Categories and product lists also need clear signals. We link the category to BreadcrumbList and ItemList so that search engines can better understand the navigation path, order and linked products.
Company details, frequently asked questions and guides can be marked up to match the visible content. We check which schema applies to each page and avoid conflicting or duplicated entities.
Plugin plus bespoke implementation
We test products, categories and relevant Shopping Experiences and compare warnings with the Shopware data that is actually maintained.
We install and configure the required schema types, organisation details as well as optional shipping and returns information.
We address theme conflicts, incomplete data or specific shop logic through targeted configuration or our own Shopware development.
We check the output across representative page types and document any remaining warnings as well as sensible next steps.

Explained briefly and clearly
Structured data describes content in a standardised format. JSON-LD is a commonly used technical representation of this. This enables search engines to better categorise details such as product, price, availability, ratings or navigation paths. Rich snippets are examples of enhanced displays in search results that may be based on such data.
No. Correctly structured data provides the technical basis, but does not guarantee any specific display. Google decides whether and how an enriched search result appears. Content, guidelines, data quality and the specific search query also play a role.
Among other things, the plugin adds Product, Offer, BreadcrumbList, ItemList, Organisation, FAQPage and HowTo data in JSON-LD. It also includes functions for canonicals, pagination, hreflang, indexing control and optional AI feeds. Based on our project experience, in typical Shopware 6 setups it covers around 80 per cent of the recurring technical tasks in this area.
A plugin cannot meaningfully invent missing or incorrect product data. Data maintenance, specific variant logic, theme and plugin conflicts, differing sales channels and the technical selection of the correct product tags often require individual attention. We check and resolve these issues in a way that suits the shop.
The focus is usually on product and category pages. In addition, company details, breadcrumbs, visible FAQ sections and appropriate step-by-step guides can be marked up. The schema type must always match the visible content and the purpose of the page.
We begin by reviewing representative products, categories and existing awards. We then determine which tasks the plugin handles directly and where adjustments are required. You will receive a clearly defined scope of work covering set-up, corrections and validation.
Accurate product data. Clear signals.
We’ll review your current situation, set up our plugin and resolve any remaining issues specific to your Shopware setup.
