Up to 80 % of your consulting is paid by the federal government
Web Labels is listed with BAFA, the German Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control, as a consultancy. When we work with you on your website, online shop or marketing, you can have the consulting subsidised at 50 or 80 per cent, depending on your location. In a first call we check whether this applies to you and guide you through the application.

What it is about
The federal government funds your consulting
With the programme “Förderung unternehmerischen Know-hows” (funding for entrepreneurial know-how), BAFA subsidises consulting for small and medium-sized enterprises. The conceptual work is funded, meaning everything before the first line of code: analysis, strategy and concept.

The result is your concept: analysis, strategy and concrete recommendations in a consulting report. The implementation itself, such as programming, design or ongoing campaigns, is not eligible. We will discuss together how to proceed afterwards.

What remains for you to pay?
What matters is where the business premises receiving the consulting are located. Consulting costs of up to €3,500 net per application are eligible, and up to 2 applications are possible per year.

Can your company be funded?
Small and medium-sized enterprises in trade and industry and members of the liberal professions with their registered office or a branch in Germany.
What you need
- fewer than 250 employees
- no more than €50 million annual turnover or €43 million balance sheet total
- registered office or branch in Germany
- no ongoing insolvency proceedings
- in the last three years no more than €300,000 in de minimis aid
- companies in their first year after founding first need a free information meeting with a regional contact such as the chamber of commerce or chamber of crafts
Good to know
- We prepare the application with you. It must be submitted before you sign a consulting contract and the consulting begins.
- up to 5 funded consulting projects per company, a maximum of 2 per year
- After the grant notice you have 6 months for consulting and invoicing
- A consulting project lasts a maximum of 5 days, which do not have to be consecutive
- BAFA pays the grant to your company once you have paid our invoice in full

Step by step
How the funding works

Step 1
Free initial call
We discuss your plans and check whether your company meets the requirements. You then receive an offer for the consulting.

Step 2
Application
We prepare the application with you, and your company remains the applicant. The control office checks the requirements and issues the information letter.

Step 3
Consulting contract and start
Only once the information letter has arrived do we sign the contract and start the consulting. We support you until the grant is paid.

Step 4
Consulting and consulting report
Now your concept takes shape: analysis, strategy and concrete recommendations, set out in writing in the consulting report.

Step 5
Proof and payment
You submit the report and the paid invoice as proof of use. BAFA checks the documents and pays the grant.
Important: Application first, then the contract. Consulting that starts before the information letter is not eligible. The control office and BAFA decide on approval case by case.
