Where data gets copied by hand without custom integrations

Suppliers send price lists as spreadsheets, a legacy system only speaks XML, and the shipping provider expects its own format. Without an integration, data is copied by hand, and errors only come to light when a customer sees the wrong price.

What custom integrations via API, CSV and XML give you

  • Data from supplier feeds and legacy systems arrives automatically.
  • Only changed records are transferred.
  • Every run is logged, so each error can be traced individually.
  • Existing integrations are extended in an update-safe way instead of being replaced.

Scope of services

What our custom integration development covers

  • REST and JSON

    API connections to modern systems.

  • CSV and XML

    Imports and exports for systems without an API.

  • From products to orders

    Products, prices, stock and orders stay in sync.

  • Supplier feeds

    Your suppliers' feeds are imported automatically.

  • Extending what exists

    For example connections to Xentral, weclapp or SelectLine.

  • Error log

    Every transfer can be traced.

We develop custom integrations for shops, ERP systems, suppliers, marketplaces and internal software. Whether REST API, CSV import or XML feed, data is exchanged between your systems automatically and traceably. For large data volumes we use delta synchronisation to transfer only what has changed, and we log every run.

  • PIM
  • Marketplaces
  • CRM
Data flows automatically in both directions instead of being transferred by hand or in Excel.

API, CSV or XML

APIs usually exchange data in real time and are the preferred route when both systems offer one. CSV files suit tabular bulk data, such as price lists from suppliers. XML is common with marketplaces, feeds and older systems. Often several formats come together in one project, and a middleware layer translates between them. The differences are explained briefly in our answer to the question What is the difference between API, CSV and XML?

Extending existing integrations

Many ERP vendors supply a Shopware connector. If a field or a process is missing, we extend the existing integration so that the vendor’s updates remain possible. We have done this for Xentral, weclapp and SelectLine, among others. All ERP systems are listed under ERP integration.

class SyncStock implements ShouldQueue
{
    public function handle(Erp $erp, Shop $shop): void
    {
        foreach ($erp->changedProducts() as $product) {
            $shop->setStock($product->number, $product->stock);
        }
    }
}
Our own code, cleanly documented and update-safe.

How we work

How custom integrations are built with us

  1. Understand

    We look at your business, your systems and your figures before we suggest anything.

  2. Plan

    You receive a concept and a quote with individual items and a realistic schedule.

  3. Build

    We develop in stages. You see interim results on a test environment and approve them.

  4. Run

    After go-live we take care of hosting, updates and monitoring if you want us to.

Frequently asked questions about custom integrations

All questions and answers
Can existing processes be automated?

Yes. Many manual processes can be fully or partly automated. Prices are updated automatically, stock levels synchronised and orders transferred directly to the ERP.

What happens if an import fails?

Faulty records are logged and handled separately while the rest of the run continues. If you wish, you or we receive a notification so that the error is fixed promptly.
