Why customers often notice faults first without shop monitoring

Many outages announce themselves in advance: a full disk, a growing queue, an expiring certificate. Without monitoring, nobody notices them until the shop goes down or a customer calls.

What shop monitoring gives you day to day

  • Problems are detected early, often before they turn into outages.
  • Several shops and websites appear in one overview with a health score.
  • Notifications arrive via the channel your team uses.
  • Trends show whether load times or visibility are getting worse.

Scope of services

What our shop monitoring keeps an eye on

  • Availability and SSL

We notice when a shop or website stops responding or a certificate expires.

  • Servers and systems

We keep an eye on load, storage, cache and search.

  • Cron jobs and error logs

Stuck queues and new errors are spotted before orders pile up.

  • Security and updates

Anomalies and available updates for extensions are reported.

  • Load times and SEO metrics

Data from Google and Microsoft services shows how the site is developing.

  • Notification

Alerts arrive by email, Slack or webhook where your team works.

Our shop monitoring watches online shops and websites around the clock: availability, server load, cache and search, queues and cron jobs, error logs and available updates. On top of that come load times and SEO metrics from Google and Microsoft. If something stands out, a message is sent by email, Slack or webhook. For Shopware shops we use our own tool, ShopSignal.

Tech stack

  1. ApplicationShopware, Laravel or WordPress with theme and plugins
  2. Cache and searchRedis and Elasticsearch configured to fit
  3. PHPcurrent version with OPcache
  4. Serverour own servers with NVMe storage
We look at every layer, not just the theme: from the application through cache and search to the server.

More than a ping

A simple availability check only notices something once the shop is already down. We also monitor internal systems and background processes, collect historical data and identify trends. A health score sums up the state of each shop in a single value, and you manage several shops centrally.

ShopSignal for Shopware

For Shopware 6 we use ShopSignal, which we developed ourselves. It also compares the day’s revenue with previous days and reports drops after a deployment. Who responds when an alert comes in is covered by Shopware maintenance or an SLA.

How we work

How we set up shop monitoring for your shop

  1. Understand

We look at your business, your systems and your figures before we suggest anything.

  2. Plan

You receive a concept and a quote with individual items and a realistic schedule.

  3. Build

We develop in stages. You see interim results on a test environment and approve them.

  4. Run

After go-live we take care of hosting, updates and monitoring if you want us to.

Frequently asked questions about shop monitoring

All questions and answers
How is a Shopware shop connected to the monitoring?

Via a dedicated Shopware extension that transmits data encrypted and signed. No additional agent runs on the server, and we do not need SSH access for this.

Can several people access the monitoring?

Yes. There is role and permission management for teams, and access is protected with two-factor login.
