Why integrations need careful planning
When data is maintained twice, stock levels are wrong or orders are transferred by hand, the cause is almost always a lack of planning for the data flows. Which system leads for products, prices and customers? Is a ready-made connector enough, or do you need a custom integration? In integration consulting we answer these questions together and draw up a concept before money goes into the connection.
What integration consulting gives you
- You know which system leads for which data.
- Ready-made connector or custom integration: the decision is based on your processes.
- Duplicate data entry and manual transfers become visible at the planning stage.
- If you wish, concept and implementation come from one team.
Scope of services
What our integration consulting covers
- Data flow analysis
Which data flows between which systems.
- Leading system
Which system is responsible for products, prices, stock and customers.
- Connector or custom solution
What is available off the shelf and where development is needed.
- Error handling
What happens when a system does not respond.
- System selection
Support in choosing an ERP or PIM.
- Project plan
Steps and budget framework for the integration.
In integration consulting we plan how your systems work together. We analyse the data flows, define which system leads for what and recommend the right type of connection. The result is a concept that works in day-to-day operations.

Making data flows visible
We record how products, prices, stock, orders and customers currently move between ERP, PIM, shop and marketplaces. This quickly shows where data is maintained twice or transferred by hand.
Choosing the right connection
Ready-made connectors exist for many systems, for example for the ERP integration. Where your processes differ, we plan a custom integration. What matters is what fits your processes.
class SyncStock implements ShouldQueue
{
public function handle(Erp $erp, Shop $shop): void
{
foreach ($erp->changedProducts() as $product) {
$shop->setStock($product->number, $product->stock);
}
}
} Working towards the solution together
We develop the concept with you and, if you wish, implement the connection straight away. For small and medium-sized companies, funding for the consulting may be available. The requirements are explained on our page on BAFA consulting funding.
How integration consulting works
- Conversation and goals
We clarify where you stand, what you want to achieve and which decisions are pending.
- Map the data flows
We record which data currently moves between your systems, how, and where things get stuck.
- Concept
You receive an integration concept with leading systems, processes and a recommendation for implementation.
- Decision and implementation
You decide on a clear basis. If you wish, we implement the solution with you straight away.

Frequently asked questions about integration consulting
All questions and answersWhat does integration consulting cost?
That depends on the scope: a single workshop, an analysis with concept or ongoing support. After the first conversation you receive a quote with a clearly defined scope.
Which systems do you connect?
We connect Shopware 6 with more than 30 ERP systems, plus PIM, CRM and marketplaces. In the consulting phase we check which approach is right for your systems.
Do you also help with choosing an ERP?
Yes. We describe which data and processes the system has to cover and support you in comparing options, with an eye on the later connection to your shop.
- ERP integration
We connect Shopware 6 with your ERP system. Products, prices and stock come from the ERP, orders and customer data go back. With a ready-made connector or a custom integration.
- PIM integration
Product copy, properties, images and translations from a PIM system sent to Shopware 6 automatically, with mapping and delta synchronisation.
- Multichannel
Connecting Shopware 6 with Amazon, eBay, Kaufland, OTTO and idealo: product export, order import and stock sync with magnalister, Base, sync4 or a custom connector.
- Data migration
Moving product, customer and order data from your old system, with field mapping, data cleansing and test imports before the switch.
A few sentences are enough to start. We will get back to you with questions or a suggested date.
