Why spreadsheets are no substitute for a custom back end
Where standard software does not fit, you end up with Excel lists, logins for several systems and processes that only individual employees know. Errors are noticed late, and new colleagues take a long time to find their way around.
What a custom back end gives you
- Data is kept in one place instead of in many spreadsheets.
- Roles and permissions define who may see and change what.
- Changes are logged in a traceable way.
- The interface fits your team's tasks.
Scope of services
What we build into your custom back end
- Map the processes
We talk to the people who will work with the back end.
- Data model and interface
First the concept, then the development.
- Development with Laravel
A proven framework with long-term maintenance.
- Roles and log
Who may see and change what is clearly defined and traceable.
- Import existing data
We transfer spreadsheets and legacy systems into the new application.
- Interfaces
Connection to shop, ERP and accounting, so nothing is maintained twice.
Custom back ends are admin interfaces for data and processes that have no place in any standard system: order management, product data maintenance, approvals or reports. We develop them with Laravel, tailored to your team’s tasks. The data flows on via interfaces into shop, ERP or accounting, so nobody has to enter it a second time.

From spreadsheet to application
Many back ends start life as an Excel file that has grown over the years. We take over the existing data, clean it up and build an interface in which entries are validated and changes are logged. What used to exist only in the heads of individual employees then becomes a rule in the software.
Connected to your systems
A back end only becomes truly useful when it uses data from other systems and passes data back. For this we use APIs and middleware. If an external group such as customers or partners is to have access too, it becomes a portal.
Tech stack
- ApplicationShopware, Laravel or WordPress with theme and plugins
- Cache and searchRedis and Elasticsearch configured to fit
- PHPcurrent version with OPcache
- Serverour own servers with NVMe storage
How we work
How your custom back end is built
- Understand
We look at your business, your systems and your figures before we suggest anything.
- Plan
You receive a concept and a quote with individual items and a realistic schedule.
- Build
We develop in stages. You see interim results on a test environment and approve them.
- Run
After go-live we take care of hosting, updates and monitoring if you want us to.

- ERP extensions
We extend cloud-based ERPs through their API: enrich products automatically, automate processes and handle add-on or configurable products in the shop that the ERP cannot manage out of the box.
- APIs & middleware
REST APIs for your own applications and middleware between shop, ERP, PIM and marketplaces that translates formats, transfers only changes and logs every run.
- Configurators
Product configurators with which customers put together dimensions, material and accessories themselves, see the price and order or send an enquiry.
- Web apps & portals
Customer portals, dealer and partner portals and internal tools that run in the browser and access your existing systems.
A few sentences are enough to start. We will get back to you with questions or a suggested date.
