What gets maintained twice without an ERP integration
Without an integration you maintain products, prices and stock twice: once in the ERP and once in the shop. Orders are retyped or moved back and forth as CSV files. That costs time every day, and once you sell on several channels, stock levels no longer match.
What an ERP integration for Shopware 6 gives you
- You maintain products, prices and stock in one place, the ERP.
- Orders from Shopware 6 reach the ERP without anyone retyping them.
- Stock levels and shipping status in the shop reflect what is in the warehouse.
- Customer group prices and B2B terms come straight from the ERP.

An ERP integration connects your online shop with your ERP system. Products, prices and stock levels come from the ERP, orders and customer data go back. We connect Shopware 6 with widely used ERP systems such as JTL-Wawi, Xentral or SAP Business One, using the vendor’s connector or a custom integration.
Which data flows between shop and ERP
In most projects the ERP is the leading system for product master data, prices and stock. The shop takes over this data and sends orders, new customers and payment information back. After dispatch, shipping status and tracking numbers flow back into the shop. Which fields are included and how often data is synchronised depends on your product range and your processes.
class SyncStock implements ShouldQueue
{
public function handle(Erp $erp, Shop $shop): void
{
foreach ($erp->changedProducts() as $product) {
$shop->setStock($product->number, $product->stock);
}
}
} Ready-made connector or custom integration
For many systems there are connectors from the vendors or from third parties. We know these solutions and set them up. If something is missing, such as your own data fields, tiered prices or several shops, we extend the integration so that updates remain possible. For systems without a ready-made interface we use the Shopware 6 API and your ERP’s interface, for example via REST, JSON, XML or CSV.

Middleware, PIM and marketplaces
If more than two systems are involved, a middleware layer between ERP, shop, PIM system and marketplaces often pays off. It translates data formats, buffers during outages and logs every sync.
ERP systems with their own page
For every system we connect to Shopware 6 there is a dedicated page with data flows and answers to typical questions, for example JTL-Wawi, Xentral, weclapp and VARIO 8. The complete list is shown further up.
Complementary solutions: multichannel with magnalister, Base and sync4
If you also sell on marketplaces, their connection belongs in the same plan as the ERP. Depending on where orders are processed, a different tool fits: magnalister runs as a plugin directly in Shopware, Base bundles orders from all channels in its own panel, and sync4 connects the ERP with the shop and marketplaces. You will find the comparison under Multichannel.
How your ERP integration project works with us
- Clarify data flows
We look at your ERP, your shop and your processes and define which data moves in which direction and when.
- Choose the approach
If the vendor's connector is sufficient, we set it up. If something is missing, we extend it or build a custom integration.
- Test with real data
Before go-live we synchronise products, stock and test orders in a staging environment.
- Go-live and operation
After go-live we monitor the synchronisation and fine-tune intervals and error notifications.

Frequently asked questions about ERP integration
All questions and answersWhat is an ERP integration for Shopware 6?
An ERP integration for Shopware 6 connects the online shop with the enterprise resource planning system (ERP). Products, prices, stock, customers and orders are synchronised automatically between both systems instead of being maintained twice. It is built with a connector from the ERP vendor or a custom integration via the Shopware API.
Which system leads in an ERP integration?
Usually the ERP leads for product master data, prices and stock, while the shop leads for orders and new customers. This can be decided per data type. If you use a PIM system, product texts and images often come from there, while prices and stock still come from the ERP.
What if there is no connector between my ERP and Shopware 6?
Then we build a custom integration. Shopware 6 has a complete API, and most ERP systems offer an interface or at least an export as CSV or XML. The integration then runs directly or through middleware that translates between both sides.
Why is my ERP integration syncing so slowly?
The most common causes are full syncs instead of syncing only changed data, batches that are too large per request, or an interval that does not suit the product range. Plugins that rebuild indexes on every import also slow things down. We check logs and processes and adjust the integration accordingly.
