Why multichannel without stock sync leads to overselling

If you sell on several marketplaces, you quickly end up maintaining the same products several times and retyping orders. Stock levels drift apart, and a product can still be bought on one marketplace even though the warehouse is empty.

What multichannel with Shopware 6 gives you

  • You maintain products once, and the marketplaces take over the data automatically.
  • Orders from every channel end up in your shop or ERP.
  • Stock levels are synchronised across all channels.
  • A faulty product does not stop the whole sync; it is logged individually.

Scope of services

What we handle in your multichannel integration

  • Channels and tool

    Together we choose the right marketplaces and the right tool.

  • magnalister, Base, sync4

    Setting up the solution that suits your product range.

  • Price comparison sites

    Exports for idealo and Hood without an extra plugin.

  • Custom connectors

    Via our cloud-based middleware when nothing off the shelf fits.

  • Orders and stock

    Order import, status updates and stock sync run automatically.

  • Repricing

    If you wish, prices adjust per marketplace.

Multichannel means your Shopware shop does not sell on its own but also on marketplaces and price comparison sites such as Amazon, eBay, Kaufland, OTTO or idealo. Products, prices and stock go out automatically, and orders come back into your shop or ERP. We are partners of magnalister and Base, set up sync4 and build custom connectors when your data or processes do not fit a ready-made solution.

Orders Integration Products, prices, stock

  • Marketplaces
  • CRM
Data flows automatically in both directions instead of being transferred by hand or in Excel.

Three tools, three approaches

Which tool fits depends on where your data is maintained and where you want to process orders:

  • magnalister works as a plugin in Shopware. You list products directly from the shop on the marketplaces, and orders arrive in the shop as Shopware orders.
  • Base is a separate sales panel. Orders from your shop and marketplaces come together there, and Base synchronises stock and prices with Shopware.
  • sync4 sits between ERP and shop. It suits setups where your ERP is the starting point and supplies both the shop and the marketplaces.

If your ERP is connected anyway, the marketplace sync belongs in the same plan. The ERP integration page gives an overview of the systems.

Ready-made solution or custom connector

For many retailers one of the three tools is enough: product export and order import run automatically, even for several marketplaces. If data has to be prepared before export, variant logic needs restructuring or the ERP offers no interface, we develop a custom connector. We pay attention to delta synchronisation, error logs and process monitoring that shows which product is stuck where.

class SyncStock implements ShouldQueue
{
    public function handle(Erp $erp, Shop $shop): void
    {
        foreach ($erp->changedProducts() as $product) {
            $shop->setStock($product->number, $product->stock);
        }
    }
}
Our own code, cleanly documented and update-safe.

Our middleware for marketplaces

Through our own cloud-based middleware we keep connecting further ERP systems, shops and marketplaces. Depending on your requirements we work with push, pull, full sync, order and stock sync, price updates and optional repricing per marketplace. Product data for Google is handled via Google Shopping & feeds.

Integrations and connectors

We also build connectors

If there is no ready-made integration for a platform, we develop it ourselves. For Fressnapf, Faire, Orderchamp and Ankorstore we have built our own middleware that connects Shopware 6 fully with each marketplace.

  • Shopware 6 and Fressnapf

    The Fressnapf marketplace for pet supplies, with product push, price and stock synchronisation, order import and shipping status.

    To the Fressnapf integration
  • Shopware 6 and Faire

    Wholesale marketplace for independent retailers: your range comes from Shopware, and the retailers’ orders flow back into the shop.

    To the Faire integration
  • Shopware 6 and Orderchamp

    B2B marketplace for brands and specialist retailers, continuously synchronised with your Shopware data.

    To the Orderchamp integration
  • Shopware 6 and Ankorstore

    European wholesale marketplace for brands and retailers, fully connected to Shopware 6.

    To the Ankorstore integration

What the middleware covers:

  • Product push with product data, variants and images
  • Price synchronisation
  • Stock synchronisation
  • Order import
  • Shipping status and tracking feedback

Frequently asked questions about multichannel with Shopware 6

All questions and answers
Do I need a separate plugin for every marketplace?

Not necessarily. With magnalister or Base you serve several marketplaces from one tool. For price comparison sites such as idealo and Hood we can also connect the product feed directly, without an extra plugin.

What is the difference between magnalister, Base and sync4?

magnalister runs as a plugin directly in Shopware and lists products on the marketplaces from there. Base is a separate sales panel where orders from all channels come together. sync4 mainly connects the ERP with the shop and marketplaces.

When is a custom connector worthwhile?

When your data has to be prepared before export, your ERP has no suitable interface or your processes do not fit a ready-made solution. In that case we build the connection via our own middleware.
