Plugin for Shopware 6

Hide out-of-stock products for Shopware 6

Products without stock disappear automatically from listings, search and manufacturer pages but stay active. This way they keep their URL and their Google ranking.

Shopware 6 plugin Hide out-of-stock products by Web Labels: feature view

Sold-out products in the listing frustrate customers. If you deactivate them, however, their pages also disappear from Google, and the ranking has to grow again after the next delivery.

This plugin solves both: products without stock are no longer shown in categories, search and manufacturer pages, but they stay active and reachable under their URL. As soon as new stock arrives, they are back immediately. The plugin was developed together with BuildIT Consulting.

What you can use the plugin for

  • Seasonal goods and remaining stock

Customers only see what they can buy, and the product page stays in the index for the next delivery.

  • Variant products

If one size or colour is sold out, only that variant disappears. The others remain visible.

Frequently asked questions about Hide out-of-stock products

Why not simply deactivate the products?

A deactivated product can no longer be reached and drops out of the Google index after a while. When it comes back, it has to rebuild its ranking. With the plugin the page stays in place.

Do I need a cron job?

No. Hiding reacts directly to every change in stock.
