With our plugin for Shopware 6, you can create colour combinations such as red/green or black/gold as a single property. The shop displays them as text or as a split colour bar. This article explains how the plugin works, which shops it suits and which features it offers.
Why two-colour properties used to be difficult in Shopware 6
In fashion and interiors in particular, many products come in a combination of two colours, such as red/green, blue/white or black/gold. Until now, displaying such combinations in Shopware 6 was cumbersome or visually unconvincing. That is why we developed this plugin.
What does the Shopware 6 plugin do?
After installation, you will find a new option in the Shopware 6 administration when managing properties (e.g. “Colour”): you can combine two colours there, which are then stored together as one property (e.g. red/green).
Depending on the settings, this combined property can be
- shown as a colour combination in text form (e.g. in the filter or on the product detail page),
- displayed visually as a split colour bar, e.g. half red, half green.
Your customers can see straight away what the colouring actually looks like. This improves usability, especially for variant products.
Which shops is the plugin suitable for?
- Fashion shops selling, for example, two-tone trainers or shirts
- Interior retailers whose sofas have two-tone upholstery, for example
- Electronics shops combining colour variants for cases, accessories or devices
Features at a glance
- Combine two colours into one property
- Optional visual display as a split colour area
- Supports colour names and colour values (hex)
- Compatible with common theme customisations
- No programming skills required
Clearer colour selection in your shop
When the colouring of a product is clear at a glance, there are fewer enquiries and fewer wrong purchases caused by false colour expectations. The plugin ensures that your colour selection is displayed correctly and legibly.
You can find the plugin in the Shopware Store. If you have questions about integrating it into your existing shop, get in touch via our contact page. You will find more services for your shop under Shopware 6 at Web Labels.
