Background

Fahrwerkonline.de sells coilover kits, sports springs, lowering springs and accessories from manufacturers such as KW, ST and AP, along with intake systems, tuning boxes and spare parts. Fahrwerkonline is a cooperation project of Web Labels and Tuning Concepts. We took over the shop as an existing Shopware 5 project. A suspension kit only fits certain vehicles. Anyone browsing the catalogue would otherwise have to work out for themselves whether a part fits their model, year and engine. That takes time and leads to enquiries.

The task

After choosing a vehicle, the shop should only show parts that fit that car. The selection also had to work for customers who do not know the exact type designation of their car.

Our solution

We rebuilt Fahrwerkonline on Shopware 6 and put the vehicle search at the centre. Next to the normal search field there are two fields for HSN and TSN, the key numbers from the German vehicle registration document. On the home page, visitors select their car step by step, and a separate page handles the search by registration document. We prepared the vehicle and product data in close cooperation with KW Automotive. As a result, vehicle assignment, filters and technical product details are accurate. After the selection, the shop only shows suspension kits and parts that fit. The navigation follows the product range: find a suspension kit, tuning box, accessories and spare parts, intake systems and a blog with background knowledge.

Implementation

For Fahrwerk Online we also manage social media and produce short vertical videos, for example on individual suspension kits. Shop and campaigns come from a single source.

Result

Fahrwerkonline.de runs on Shopware 6. Anyone looking for a suspension kit reaches suitable parts via their own vehicle or the key numbers from the registration document, without searching through type lists. With SEO, Google Ads and continuous development, annual revenue rose from €15,000 to over €700,000 within one year, roughly 46 times as much.

  • €15,000 Annual revenue at the start
  • €700,000+ Annual revenue one year later

We migrated the project entirely to Shopware 6 to fix the problems identified and to create a better basis for future growth. The result is a working online shop that generates sales every day and keeps climbing in the search engine rankings.
