Marketplace integration

Shopware 6 Fressnapf integration as a ready-made solution

Our own middleware connects Shopware 6 with the Fressnapf marketplace: products, prices and stock go out, orders come into the shop, and the shipping status goes back.

The Fressnapf marketplace without an integration: two systems, twice the work

If you sell on the Fressnapf marketplace, you otherwise maintain two worlds: products and prices in your shop and again in the seller portal, orders are retyped and tracking numbers added by hand. With many products and variants this quickly becomes error-prone, and incorrect stock costs you reviews.

What the Shopware 6 Fressnapf integration brings to your daily work

  • You maintain products, prices and stock in Shopware only.
  • Fressnapf orders arrive in your shop as regular orders.
  • Shipping status and tracking go back to the marketplace automatically.
  • You start with a ready-made solution instead of a development project.

Scope of services

What the Shopware 6 Fressnapf integration handles

  • Product push

    Product data, variants and images go from Shopware to the marketplace.

  • Price sync

    Price changes in the shop reach Fressnapf without being entered twice.

  • Stock

    Stock levels stay in sync so that nothing is sold that is not available.

  • Order import

    Marketplace orders arrive in your shop as Shopware orders.

  • Shipping status

    Shipping confirmation and tracking number go back to Fressnapf.

  • Launch and support

    We set up the integration, map your data and support you at launch.

With our Shopware 6 Fressnapf integration you sell your range on the Fressnapf marketplace without maintaining products and orders twice. For this we built our own middleware that covers the marketplace completely: from product push through price sync and stock to order import and shipping status feedback.

Our middleware connects Shopware 6 with the Fressnapf marketplace: products, prices and stock go out, orders come back, and the shipping status goes back to the Fressnapf marketplace.

The Fressnapf marketplace

Fressnapf opened its online shop to external sellers in 2022. Since then, marketplace partners have offered their products there alongside Fressnapf’s own range, and technically the marketplace runs on the Mirakl platform. For manufacturers and retailers in the pet supplies sector, it is an additional sales channel with a wide reach.

A ready-made solution, not a one-off project

Many marketplace integrations are built as one-off projects and take time accordingly. For Fressnapf the middleware is already finished. We set it up for your shop, map your categories, variants and attributes to the marketplace’s requirements and test the process with real products before launch. If needed, we add custom fields or special cases from your plugins.

class SyncStock implements ShouldQueue
{
    public function handle(Erp $erp, Shop $shop): void
    {
        foreach ($erp->changedProducts() as $product) {
            $shop->setStock($product->number, $product->stock);
        }
    }
}
Our own code, cleanly documented and update-safe.

How the setup works

First we clarify which products should go on the marketplace and how your data is structured. Then we connect the middleware with your Shopware shop and your Fressnapf seller account, transfer the first products and check order import and shipping feedback. On request, we align returns and cancellations with your processes.

Further marketplaces and integrations

The same middleware is also available for the wholesale marketplaces Faire, Orderchamp and Ankorstore. We connect further marketplaces via multichannel solutions and your ERP via the ERP integration. How we develop these connections is described under API and middleware.

Integrations and connectors

We also build connectors

If there is no ready-made integration for a platform, we develop it ourselves. For Fressnapf, Faire, Orderchamp and Ankorstore we have built our own middleware that connects Shopware 6 fully with each marketplace.

  • Shopware 6 and Fressnapf

    The Fressnapf marketplace for pet supplies, with product push, price and stock synchronisation, order import and shipping status.

  • Shopware 6 and Faire

    Wholesale marketplace for independent retailers: your range comes from Shopware, and the retailers’ orders flow back into the shop.

    To the Faire integration
  • Shopware 6 and Orderchamp

    B2B marketplace for brands and specialist retailers, continuously synchronised with your Shopware data.

    To the Orderchamp integration
  • Shopware 6 and Ankorstore

    European wholesale marketplace for brands and retailers, fully connected to Shopware 6.

    To the Ankorstore integration

What the middleware covers:

  • Product push with product data, variants and images
  • Price synchronisation
  • Stock synchronisation
  • Order import
  • Shipping status and tracking feedback

Frequently asked questions about the Shopware 6 Fressnapf integration

All questions and answers
Is the Fressnapf integration a ready-made solution?

Yes. We have already built the middleware for the Fressnapf marketplace. For your shop we set it up and map your products, variants and categories instead of developing everything from scratch.

What do I need to sell on the Fressnapf marketplace?

You need approval as a marketplace partner from Fressnapf and access to the marketplace's interface. You apply to Fressnapf, and we support you on the technical side.

Which data is synchronised between Shopware and Fressnapf?

Products with product data, variants and images, prices, stock levels, orders as well as shipping status and tracking.

Does my ERP keep running alongside?

Yes. If an ERP is connected to Shopware, Fressnapf orders pass through Shopware into the ERP, just like all other orders.
