Suhl Shop: Shopware online shop

Fast loading times and user-friendly navigation.

Suhl Shop homepage, online shop built by Web Labels

A technical detail worth knowing about the Suhl Shop is its use of modular components, which allow the design and functions to be adapted flexibly. This lets the shop respond quickly to changes in the product range or marketing strategy. The site is also supported by Elasticsearch, which noticeably reduces loading times and improves the user experience. Modern web standards ensure smooth display on different devices, while a clear structure makes navigation easier and helps users find the products they want quickly.

Plugins

Plugins used

For Suhl Shop we used these Shopware plugins of our own, among others.

  • Shopware 6 plugin Admin product overview with custom fields by Web Labels: feature view Admin product overview with custom fields Show your product custom fields as separate columns in the product list of the Shopware administration, without opening each product.
  • Shopware 6 plugin Hide out-of-stock products by Web Labels: feature view Hide out-of-stock products Products without stock disappear automatically from listings, search and manufacturer pages but stay active. This way they keep their URL and their Google ranking.
  • Shopware 6 plugin Extended manufacturer overview by Web Labels: feature view Extended manufacturer overview Every manufacturer automatically gets its own page with a product listing and filters, plus an A to Z brand overview.
  • Shopware 6 plugin Intelligent product advisor by Web Labels: feature view Intelligent product advisor Guide customers to the right product with just a few questions. The answers are weighted, so close matches also appear in a sensible order.
  • Shopware 6 plugin Intelligent cross-selling by Web Labels: feature view Intelligent cross-selling Let Shopware find similar products itself: you weight the important properties, and the plugin creates matching recommendations from them.
  • Shopware 6 plugin OSS Delivery Country Selection with Price Correction by Web Labels: feature view OSS Delivery Country Selection with Price Correction Visitors choose their delivery country and the shop recalculates every price from net with that country's VAT. Your margin stays the same everywhere.
  • Shopware 6 plugin Premium Product and Category Slider by Web Labels: feature view Premium Product and Category Slider Design product and category sliders in your shopping experiences with your own colours, images and a teaser area for promotions.
  • Shopware 6 plugin Sticky Product Image by Web Labels: feature view Sticky Product Image The product image scrolls along with the page. With tall images, the buy box with price and add-to-cart button stays visible instead.
  • Shopware 6 plugin Top Filters per Category by Web Labels: feature view Top Filters per Category Show the most important filters first in each category. Anyone who wants to filter further expands the rest with one click.
  • Shopware 6 plugin Hide Empty Categories by Web Labels: feature view Hide Empty Categories Empty categories disappear from the menu automatically but stay active, and therefore in the sitemap and search index.
  • Shopware 6 plugin Product Add-ons by Web Labels: feature view Product Add-ons Sell warranty extensions, assembly or old appliance removal as add-ons directly on the product, and even later in the cart.
  • Shopware 6 plugin Media Booster by Web Labels: view from the Shopware Store Media Booster Automatically shrinks the images in your shop, converts them to WebP and AVIF and gives them alt texts and descriptive file names.
  • Shopware 6 plugin My Smart Blog by Web Labels: view from the Shopware Store My Smart Blog A complete blog directly in Shopware: posts and categories as separate modules, with a content builder, product sliders and clean SEO.
  • Shopware 6 plugin Mobile filter and sorting by Web Labels: view from the Shopware Store Mobile filter and sorting Makes filtering and sorting usable on smartphones: large buttons instead of small dropdowns, a sticky filter button and a clear price slider.
  • Shopware 6 plugin Rich Snippets and AI Visibility by Web Labels: view from the Shopware Store Rich Snippets and AI Visibility Gives Google and AI search structured data on products, categories and your company, plus an FAQ element and an llms.txt.
  • Shopware 6 plugin Advertising Banner in Listing by Web Labels: view from the Shopware Store Advertising Banner in Listing Show advertising banners directly between the products in the category listing, scheduled and per category.
Technical details

Alongside the project itself, we switched the shop to Advanced Search via Shopware Evolve, which is powered by Elasticsearch. As a result, there is no lag when searching and listing pages load faster.
